“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:40
We facilitate mission trips for groups and individuals, through disaster relief, construction projects, wells, etc. We evangelize to the lost and serve the "Least of These". Mtn2Sea Ministries serves those in need and the ministries and missions groups serving them around the world. We also have a coffee ministry that supports 36 (and growing) farmers and their families. We have a coffee farm in the same small village in the Honduran mountains where this rapidly growing group of awesome farmers grow for us. The proceeds go straight back to the farm and farmers, or to help fund out disaster relief efforts.
Who God Uses (Isaiah 6:8)
Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” God has gone out of His way in the Bible to show us that He used and will use ordinary people to do extraordinary things in His name. Our main goal is to make sure every Christian understands they can answer the call, just like Isaiah. God will use them, no matter their qualifications; they just have to be willing to be used. “God doesn't call the prepared, He prepares the called”.
Not Another Sermon!
A preacher once said, “The world does not need to hear another sermon, they need to see one”. Christians always need to tell the world the Good News of God’s love. However most of the time we would get much further if we also showed His love. When someone is hurting or needs help, they need to see His love demonstrated through kindness, love, and support. They need to see a regular person with a true heart for the lost. They need to see a true Christian servant in action. Not a Christian just talking about His love; we need to show them the love of Christ. The world needs to see His love through His children and not to just hear them speak about it and never see it in action.
True Servants
In today’s society, we as Christians tend to forget what it means to be a servant. We also tend to forget what He tells us our responsibilities are in regard to serving others (Matthew 25:34-46). We sometimes feel that we pay our taxes or we pay our church staff and missionaries to take care of those in need. Even worse, we sometimes feel that serving others can be beneath us. Sure, we do not mind serving when others can see or the job is easy. What about those times when no one sees or when it might be a very hard situation? We must never forget the examples Christ showed us in the Bible about His willingness, as the King of all creation, to serve others who were certainly below Him. (Matthew 20:28)
