Mtn2Sea Ministries has been in ministry since 2005. We serve those in need locally, throughout the south, and around the world.
Mtn2Sea Ministries uses service ministries to help those in need. Our focus is separated into two main areas that work together. Disaster Relief and Coffee ministry.
Our goal is to be “boots on the ground” the day of a disaster. With our system of “rapid deployment” we bridge the gap between disaster impact and when the government and large NGOs arrive. It generally takes 3-5 days for the government and large organizations to get their operations up and running after a large disaster. During this time period, people are in shock. They look around and see no help yet, only destruction. They start to lose hope. This is where Mtn2Sea comes in!
With our Mobile Disaster Relief Center, we deliver generators and supplies to a local church. Our goal is to help that local church get up and running the day of the storm. That way we are helping them bridge the gap, before the “calvary” gets there. We have our supplies warehoused and stored at the ready allowing us to always be ready to deploy. We can be “boots on the ground” in most cases the day of a disaster. While others are still making plans, we can already be serving.
From hurricanes to earthquakes, to tornadoes and even getting refugees out of war-torn regions, we strive to bring relief in disasters locally, or to the other side of the world. Our goal in 2023 is to build a bigger warehouse to store more disaster supplies. You can help us with funding for this!
Mtn2Sea Ministries has its own brand comprised of coffee we personally get straight from the farm in Central America. We are currently cultivating our own coffee farm. You can also help us with funding this! The farm will not just provide us with awesome coffee, it will allow us to provide more good paying jobs for those in great need.
When people buy our coffee, it gives opportunities to help those in poverty get out, it helps us raise money to be able to serve those in need, and it also allows us to provide free coffee in times of disasters. We are set up to easily serve 1000+ cups of fresh and HOT coffee a day in disasters zones. Our Mobile Disaster Relief Center has its own power and water.
We also use the funds from the coffee sales to return to the coffee farm’s community and serve. We work with the farmers and the local church to help in the community, so the help comes from their own people. We believe that to ever have a real impact in solving poverty, we must help them help their own people.
Through coffee sales in 2022 in the farm’s community, we put a roof on a school, provided a filtration system for a clinic, provided well water to several communities, did construction on several homes, had feeding programs, provided power for a church, etc. We are not just using “helping the poor farmer” as a marketing tool. We are very serious about actually making a difference in the whole community!
